Summary job description

Blue Ventures’ Partner Network team is responsible for identifying, selecting, and supporting civil society organisations and NGOs that work with coastal communities around the world. The team provides funding, technical assistance, and organisational support to help partners develop and sustain community-based fisheries management and locally managed marine areas. The team also promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building among partners, helping them strengthen their organisations and contribute to a global network focused on sustainable coastal fisheries management, with local communities at the centre of decision-making. Blue Ventures is recruiting a Partnership Coordinator in Senegal to help expand and strengthen its partner network. The main responsibilities include developing partnership strategies, identifying potential partners, assessing their needs, building and maintaining relationships, fostering collaboration, and supporting successful partnership initiatives. The position is full-time, based in Senegal, and reports to the Head of Partnership for West Africa. The role requires frequent travel to remote communities, flexibility to accommodate weather- and tide-dependent schedules, and the ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
