Position Overview
An organization is recruiting a WASH Assistant under a fixed-term contract (CDD) of six (6) months. The position is in the field of production, maintenance, and quality.
Required Academic Profile
- Education level: higher education (Licence)
- Specialties concerned: Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Hydraulic Engineering
Tasks and Missions
- Ensure the technical implementation and management of SkyJuice units
- Conduct community mobilization and capacity-building activities
- Handle monitoring, report writing, and accountability (MEAL / SERA)
- Ensure compliance with protection, PSEA principles, and applicable procedures and standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Hold a university degree (Bac+2 / Licence minimum) in Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Water and Environment, or an equivalent scientific or technical field
- Demonstrate at least 2 to 3 years of confirmed professional experience in the implementation of similar WASH projects, in a humanitarian or development context
- Have direct technical experience with decentralized water treatment and purification systems (experience with ultrafiltration membranes / SkyJuice or comparable technologies would be a major asset)
- Have proven experience in community training and capacity building of water committees
Required Languages
- French
- Local Arabic (dialect « Local Arabic »)
