About the company

A major company specialized in technological infrastructure and telecom engineering is recruiting a fiber optic and FTTH networks technician (M/F) to lead its digital deployment projects in Abidjan. This field position is intended for an expert in next-generation networks, rigorous, autonomous, and capable of carrying out complex optical infrastructure work.

Job conditions

• Location: Position based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with daily interventions on aerial and underground connection sites

Main missions

• Under the supervision of the telecom works supervisor or the project manager, the position holder will have the following responsibilities
• Infrastructure deployment: carry out fiber optic network deployment work and install the equipment and accessories necessary for the proper functioning of the network
• Cable pulling and installation: perform the pulling, installation, identification and routing of fiber optic cables on aerial and underground networks
• Precision optical connection: perform fiber optic connections and splices in pulling chambers, manholes, street cabinets and protective enclosures
• FTTH / FTTB engineering: carry out subscriber and building connection work for FTTH / FTTB architectures
• Network maintenance: ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of telecommunications infrastructures to guarantee service continuity for subscribers
